Our story....so far.

"After dropping out of an engineering degree, bewildered and short on confidence, I returned home to work on my family’s farm. I started with the basics: taking out the dustbins, chopping wood, and learning the rhythms of the business. Over time, I took on more responsibility and eventually found myself managing our Global GAP and food safety audits.

Like many small farms, we relied heavily on paper records. When audit season rolled around, sorting through piles of paperwork and trying to make sense of complex requirements felt overwhelming. Hiring a consultant was too expensive, and the software solutions we found weren’t built for farms like ours. I knew there had to be a better way.

I began experimenting with Google Sheets dashboards and soon discovered the power of no-code tools, AI agents, and automation. What started as a few basic templates quickly evolved into a custom app that transformed how we managed our records. It simplified everything, saved time, and helped us pass our audit. That experience was a turning point. I realised that farmers like us needed tools built for our realities.

That’s how Custom Metrics was born. My mission is simple: to close the technology gap for farmers by creating digital tools that are easy to use, budget-friendly, and tailored to the way real farms operate. Every farm, big or small, deserves access to the same level of organisation and efficiency as large-scale operations, without the high costs or complexity.
